My name is Larry Reynosa, and I am the Chief Instructor of the Makoto Dojo.I currently hold the rank of Rokudan(6th Degree Black Belt).I have been training with Seagal Sensei for the past 17 years & have sworn my allegiance and loyalty to his style of Aikido.Sixteen years ago,while visiting my home Dojo, Seagal Sensei honored me with the name "Makoto", which literally means "sincere heart" in Japanese.We are associated with the International Aikido Federation,which maintains world head quarters in Tokyo, Japan. All black belt certificates are received from the Hombu Dojo in Tokyo,Japan.Makoto Dojo instructors are commited to following the way of the Founder,Morihei Ueshiba,who we fondly refer to as O'Sensei and to carry on his vision.

Today, Aikido is being reborn everywhere. That old ripple in the pond that started back in 1984, has spread around the world.

Makoto Aikido Kyokai(formally the Ten Shin association) will continue to bring the committment of quality to:a regulated set of standards.Regular training sessions.Dan testing at your own Dojo! Qualified instructors available for Seminars.The association will offer opportunities and methods for Dojos everywhere to bring O'Senseis',Seagal Senseis teachings directly to their students.For the first time,ranking of both Kyu & Dan ranks under Seagal Sensei and thru Hombu Dojo in Japan, will be centralized and available to students who train hard and achieve the necessary skill level.
